Jean Lee Patindol of Pax Christi Pilipinas and PECOJON contributes to family peace with her award winning books.

Her first book, "Papa's House, Mama's House" (2004 Philippine Board on Books for Young People Alfredo Salanga Prize for Children's Literature, Adarna; and 2005 Manila Critics Circle National Book Awards finalist) deals with marital separation and questions the concept of a "broken home".

Her second book, "Tight Times" (2007 Philippine Board on Books for Young People Alfredo Salanga Prize
for Children's Literature, Adarna; and 2008 Manila Critics Circle National Book Awards finalist) addresses economic hardship and how having very little money doesn't always mean being "poor".

Her latest book, "My One Boobed Mamma" (LIving Waters, 2008), goes international as it was recently published in the United States and released last October in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The book's theme is on how a mother deals with her breast cancer and how her daughter learns about coping with the disease gracefully and with spirit, and what it means to be a real woman.
